Design and Make a custom bag

While this class has not begun, I can already tell that I am gonna love it. Ellie laid out all the details in a free zoom session and her explanation made me even more excited. I started my bag making journey will her in 2017 and I learned so much more than only bag making. I learned to love my creations, imperfect they may be and to love the journey. And baby, this is gonna be one groovy ride!!!

I’m a fairly experienced sewer. I have a regular sewing machine and a Singer heavy duty. Can I make a Woodland bag on that, and about how long on avg. does it take to make one? Any special tools needed? Thanks. Sibyl

Hi Sibyl,
Yes, you can definitely make the Woodland bag on the Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine! That's the machine I use in the Woodland Online Class. It is a beginner level bag, so it comes in at 1-3 hours. The only tool you need is a way to make holes in your fabric and leather, like a drive punch (on a cutting board) or an Awl. We just use a household hammer to set the rivets.
