Make a Maywood Totepack with a Pendleton® wool pocket! These limited edition kits feature blanket-weight Pendleton® wool paired with our classic waxed canvas, leather, and hardware.
This kit includes waxed canvas, pre-cut leather, hardware, a large format paper pattern to cut out your fabric pieces, and access to the PDF pattern booklet. You have the option to add the online class, tools, and paper instructions booklet.
NOTE: The orientation and section of the pattern on each piece of Pendleton® wool varies slightly. We use every piece of yardage possible, to reduce waste. Each piece is unique and equally beautiful!

Our Materials
Our Materials
Waxed Canvas
A densely-woven cotton fabric that's saturated with wax, giving it protection against the elements. It shows scuffs and creases that blend into a weathered patina. *fabric colors vary in weight from 10-12oz
Leather
Sourced from USA tanneries, and hand-selected for quality. Our hides are cut into straps with a hydraulic press to ensure precision and consistency.
Hardware
Hardware takes a bag from looking homemade to professional—and it's not hard to do! Using basic tools, you can set rivets & more. All our hardware is real metal and built to last.

This was my first bigger bag purchase from Klum House- It definitely took me a little longer, but overall, it wasn't too difficult to sort out (I have made a few other bags, so I'm a little familiar with these patterns). Overall, it came together great and is my every day bag (plus carries toddler needs!). Thanks again for a great kit/pattern!

I bought the Maywood Tote Pack a few years ago as a gift for myself and was too intimated to give it a try. I then forgot that I had it. A year passes.... Then I remembered and took it out and this time opened all the packaging. Overwhelmed and intimidated, I placed everything away. Forgot about it again. More time goes by... maybe a couple years. A few days ago, while admiring someone else's backpack while standing in line at the airport, I remembered my Maywood kit... again. Got home, took out the kit, read the instructions and decided to do it. Not intimidated at all. But ready to make mistakes and learn. It was much easier than I thought due to the explicit instructions and graphics. AND I used tools I've never heard of nor used before. It was such an amazing learning experience. I have a new favorite bag.

I just finished making the Maywood using the full maker kit and I have to say I even impressed myself. I was a little hesitant since it involved some new skills, but with the top quality, pre-cut materials, easy to follow pattern and excellent video instruction, it came together beautifully. I love it!

I have done different sewing projects over the past few years, but I still consider myself a novice. I also purchased the video class along with the maker kit, which made everything come together so easily.
