Rivet Removal Tool

Yep, I needed it and it was on hand. You’ll make mistakes and this tool is great for undoing a mistake and quickly getting things right.

I wasn’t sure I would ever need this tool. My rivets usually turned out fairly well. However, I definitely needed it while making bookmarks for graduation gifts. It saved the leather and was quite easy to use. I am very glad I had this tool in my bag of tricks!!

I owned the white version of your rivet remover, which seemed to have a bit of a slope to the circles, and it worked beautifully. This new version was impossible to use — the rivets did not come out and I ended up having to use pliers. Messy, messy and I don’t think I can save the strap end of my strap, sadly. Not sure what the difference is, but this newer model, at least for me, doesn’t work as well.

Started out bag making and didn't think this was necessary. That was my first mistake! My second mistake showed me how wrong I was :D Buy the whole kit, including this tool. There will come a day you will need this.

The hole piece is hardwood and the punch has a smooth base, not hollow like a nail punch. Just need to be consistent on which side you put the cap. It works to remove the 1/2” to 7/16” double cap rivets I use!

I fist saw this on Sew Sweetness and later bought it when I had a rivet problem. It worked perfectly. My only complaint is that I think the price is high for what it is. It does appear to be very well made and durable. I like that it's easily stored and not some bulky device.

Had to bite the bullet and get this tool after messing up a couple of rivets and struggling to remove them! This tool is so great to have when you make an error! When used correctly, it works like a charm. However, I had an issue with the base moving about and so when I wacked the long bit with the mallet, it hit against the side of the base (instead of directly in the open hole) and bent the tip of the long tool. I then tried to knock it back straight and try again but i hit the base instead of the open hole AGAIN and the tip eventually broke off. Trying to see how I can order a replacement long tool only from Klum House. Hopefully I can and then do better to hit directly in the hole because the 2 times it worked prior to breaking were such a life saver! Worth the cost!

Was disappointed in the rivet tool kit. It didn't have one side counter sunk. And NO ONE from your company answered my e-mail about that matter. I think it was a bit expensive.

I needed to remove rivets and replace with larger ones but couldn’t get them out. This tool did it easily in about 3 minutes. Then I wasn’t paying attention on another project and had to remove 4 others. I was greatful I had the tool.

This is great, I was using wire cutters before but this is safer. No damage to the leather when removing

It’s easy to use and will not damage your leather. It might leave some wrinkles.

This tool saved my bag! It worked beautifully the first time I had to use it.

I originally emailed you a question regarding a specific rivit on wrangler jeans. I never received an answer. I decided to go ahead and order your product anyway. Upon arrival I tried to remove a total of 4 rivits. On the second rivit the punch bent. Luckily I had other punches in tool box that allowed me to complete my job.

This tool saved my Slabtown bag. I installed the last 2 rivets on the backpack strap incorrectly and thought my entire bag was ruined before I watched the YouTube video and ordered the tool. My finished bag now has both straps installed correctly and is beautiful!

An easy way to remove misplaced or dented rivets.

It may be perfect for regular rivets but I specifically purchased it for Crystal rivets and it is unable to remove them. Very disappointed.

This is an awesome product! This removal tool is like having a seam ripper. You hope you never need it, but when you do you'll be so grateful you have it. I ordered one for my daughter and one for me. Very much worth the money. It's so much better than ruining a project when trying to remove a rivet.

I have been removing rivets with my dremel drill, and even though I got the job done, I wasted too much time trying not to ruin the leather. With this tool, that is a thing of the past! In my opinion it cost way more than it’s worth. It looks like it’s made out of plastic or something else cheap and didn’t help remove the rivets for me. Would not recommend at all.

I messed up installing a rivet in a leather label on a finished zipper pouch. After researching how to remove the river without destroying the bag in the process, I found Sarah Lawson’s tutorial on Sew Sweetness! A life saver( or bag saver!) I ordered this tool which arrived amazingly fast and successfully removed the rivet, re-installed a new one on the label and all was good. The tool is sturdy and solid and does the job quickly and efficiently. Well worth the investment!

I was able to save a wallet that I was making. I had messed up a double cap rivet and thought I would have to trash my project. This tool saved the day.
