Fremont - Seasonal Bag Maker Kit

Love the bag! Love the step by step instructions!

I loved it. The fabric was fine IMHO. The second Fremont I have ever done, but the first second. I went ahead and ordered pattern for the Oberlin I think it was, along with the finishing kit. Anyway, great product, wonderful company and your will not regret the learning experience!!

I made a group of Fremont bags and gave them away as gifts. Some of them also had matching zippered pouches or tote bags. Making this pattern multiple times was a great way for a beginner like me to practice sewing and gain skill.

Have you ever made something and just put it out to admire. This bag is THAT great! Even bought bags are not this well crafted. The products are top notch. I bought the full kit as wanted a craft project that I would work on right away thought I need to work on how to punch holes at the finishing stage. Already thinking of making another bag.

I bought The Fremont Bag kit from you and I just loved sewing it together. I watched the Craftsy class and it was so simple and easy with Ellie’s great instructions. I will be sewing this bag again. I ordered and received the grey and marigold bag waxed cotton combo. It came out great. I hadn’t seen a zipper in YEARS and it came out wonderfully.

I have not tried to make this bag yet, I have signed up for another bag making class and going to wait till I do that first to get the hang of it before starting your Fremont bag. I like all the stuff that has come in the kit.

This kit came with everything I needed (added the punches to make the project easier) and I was able to assemble in one afternoon. Directions were straightforward and easy to follow. The fabrics are great. I had a great time and now have an awesome bag to show for it!

I'm partway through my first bag and I must say totally clear instructions to follow, no problemo! Bag is shaping up just how I pictured it in my mind - great purchase unfortunately for living here in New Zealand awfully expensive but totally worth it!

I received my Fremont Kit from Klum House. It was sold as a "Seconds" meaning that there might be some imperfections. I've made several regular (not "Seconds") KH kits in the past and this one sewed together as beautifully as the others. I seriously examined every piece and could not find any even minor flaws. What a great deal!

This was a little out of my budget so when the seconds kit came out I jumped on it. No looking back. I honestly didn’t even realize I got a seconds kit. The pattern and diagrams are so clear, everything precut and sorted just made such a difference. My first bag was made in 2 days and I would consider myself a beginner. Klum will continue to be my go to for any future bag making I do!

I enjoyed making the Fremont from a kit. I used video instructions and they were helpful. I was impressed with how the bag turned out, as was my husband, and friends. It is now my favorite purse, and I have several dozen so that is saying a lot. It is a great size for carrying everything I might want to and it starts out light weight so doesn't get too heavy. Plan to make another one!

This was so much fun to make and turned out beautiful. I can't wait to make another one. I think this is going to be a wonderful new addiction.

There maker kit really makes this process easy and I would recommend it for you first bag. Once you've done it without having to prep your materials, it is easy to make it your own.

Once I finished the first one, I immediately made another one for a friend.

I bought the Freemont gray and green waxed canvas kit. The having the fabric & leather pre-cut and pre-punched made a HUGE difference for making the bag the first time. I knew that I didn't have to second guess my measuring and cutting and could just focus on techniques and assembling. It arrived in a tube so that the waxed canvas didn't need to be folded, there were no creases to deal with. I love the size and fabrics! I made the bag a second time as a gift to my sister - it went very well and she is thrilled with the results. I used some very special fabric called bogolan that I bought in Senegal, Africa for the pocket and it is lovely!
